I think these things are always so much fun. I am genuinely quite happy with the progress I’ve made this year, I feel like I really want to start pushing myself more next year, and brush up on some of my fundamentals as well.

Some of the artworks here are ones I’ve never posted before, and probably never will post because they’re so old now and don’t represent my current art skill.

I definitely feel like I’ve gotten more confident at using Procreate, I remember when I switched over in mid 2023 it’s like I had started from the beginning again in a way. My art became far more simple and sketchier, because I couldn’t for the longest time find a brush that I liked enough to create a fully finished piece too.

I still haven’t really rendered in the way that I used too in ibis, because I’ll be so fr, the automatic selection tool in Procreate sucks ass. Or maybe I just haven’t found the right settings yet, or perhaps it’s an issue with my overall process. Idk I’ll have to figure something out either way, but still I think it’s more finicky to use in Procreate.
