There's been many a pirate otter, but have you ever seen a swashbuckling otter?

Tthis guy here is the main protagonist for a video game concept I've had in mind. He and the game are meant to evoke classic '90s platformers for the Genesis or Super NES. One of these days I'd love to work with a game programmer to make this idea a reality (I have no knowledge of nor interest in coding). I've always loved old 2D games, even the mediocre ones.

He was first thought up for a typography project in which the class had to design a group of skateboards/surfboards/snowboards (I picked surfboards). That's when I designed the logo you see here. I'm pretty sure the whole thing went right over their heads- just as well, I hated that class.

So my question is, would you play a game with this guy in it?
