When I first met you
You were weak and small-
Waiting among the
shifting blades of grass
Hiding your meekness behind a display of tooth and claw.
You were wild and free
But I have tamed you,
And gained your trust,
Though I couldn’t bear to crush your spirit-
I didn’t choose what I wanted you to be
No, I chose you.
Days
The many colors of the many towns passing by
The colorful characters
and the things to do/see
They pique my curiosity,
-and I want to explore every nook and cranny
To help anyone in need
After all they usually give me free stuff in return-
And you were always there by my side.
We’ve both grown strong
Not only in body and spirit,
But in friendship.
Adventure calls!
Deep caves, mossy green forests, treacherous mountains
We will continue on
Taking on the world together.
