The next character from The Adventures of an Evil Minion is Mildred, Randy's love interest.

She's the nerdy, bookish type, but she has grace and warmth, not to mention kindness and generosity that has Randy infatuated with her. I was going for the "beautiful nerd" type here, inspired by Velma from Scooby-Doo and Gadget from Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, as well as Sylvia Marpole from An Extremely Goofy Movie.

Mildred works at a comic book store and volunteers for the local library, and also has a passion for knowledge, particularly history and the kind of stuff found in museums, such as ancient pots or Medieval books.

Since this is exactly the sort of thing Prof. Blackheart steals, Randy has to watch things that Mildred cares for get taken away. On top of that, Randy's extreme shyness and insecurity keep him from admitting his love for her, despite being close friends. Randy doesn't think he's at all attractive, much less worthy of her.

I'm not actually sure what I was going for when I drew the "Torture for Fun" book- I don't remember what side of Randy's personality it was supposed to be. Randy is certainly no masochist- he's actually the Iron Butt Monkey type, so maybe I thought he would wish he could punish the people who bully him...?
