Memory Fades
You see giant white structures (mushrooms?) in front of you
A vast, flat desert stretches into the infinite
Everything is both unfamiliar and nostalgic
And yet, your memory still fades…
…as a ring planet floats overhead.

For those who haven't noticed, this piece is heavily inspired by the 1985 movie Quiet Earth.

I remember seeing a still somewhere on the internet and then never again. Only years later did I discover it was from Quiet Earth. Over those years, my memory distorted: The morning scene became a mid-day scene, the coast became a white desert, and the clouds became mushrooms or geysers. I found it quite interesting how off my memory was.
I have also been getting into backrooms, the Zooliminology series (by Quiietjay) and 'Frutiger Aero' aesthetics.
So I decided to make my own version and now it is complete.
