I haven't been super active here recently, but that doesn't mean I haven't been drawing!!! :3
Recently I got accepted into Holiday Matsuri's Artist Alley under the name PUPLION (the shop I co-run with my wife!) It's our third artist alley :D In 2025, we're going to try to do more conventions so I'm super excited! In order to prepare we've made 10+ new prints and 10+ new stickers PLUS 3 washi tape, 2 pins, and an acrylic stand/washi tape holder (wowowowow) it's our second time getting manufactured goods so its been interesting
Anyway a lot of the art has been collaborative so its hard to imagine uploading here? Maybe sometime later this month I'll post some that I mostly drew <3
Moving on to the next topic................. I'm now on bluesky! I've been enjoying it, especially after seeing twitter go so downhill (terrible website RIP) and there's no ads so thats nice :3

hi everyone :D its been too long since my last journal!! i hope youre all having a good start to your september!
during most of august i was only able to create a few work-in-progress pieces but otherwise I was feeling a little uninspired. I was just wondering, how do you handle moments of art fatigue / art block?
I've been turning to pinterest lately (I use that site in phases!) and its so fun to scroll....................
I know its not the best website since it has a lot of uncredited art (unfortunately) BUT i love being able to organize different aesthetics and get art inspo while still being able to doomscroll for a bit LOL
it feels like a better, more productive way, to beam 100 images into my eyeballs
I've really been into ""divine machinery"" and weirdcore aesthetics lately. the blend of nostalgia yet somethings a little off is so fun to me & i love the use of real images and text :DD I'm hoping to incorporate some collage-y elements into my future art. maybe some photocopy distortion text also!!!
in other news... i got an email last week saying it was my 10th anniversary on deviantart! which means my og account would have been 13(?) years old o_o wowow

between 2010-2014 rpg maker games were HUGE! does anyone remember playing them??
OFF was released in 2008, space funeral in 2010, ib in 2012 and so on… not to mention yume nikki was made in 2004!! thats so wild to me
I was a huge fan of them at the time but I was a teen so I wasn’t put together enough to make my own game, however after revisiting some I think it’d be cool to make one!!! >_<
i revisited pen palz & one called wreCk specifically. but I plan on playing yume nikki and space funeral closer to halloween :] i loved those, and also the yume nikki fangames .flow and me! i played so many of those

well I've been on this site for 1 week and i LOV it!! I'm pretty up to date on artwork now so my uploads may decrease just a touch.. I've also made a persona account for my silly fursona drawings @dapple
Admittedly there's a few things I probably could have uploaded there instead of here, but it's all the same!! Plus I only made it as of a few days ago. Such a cool feature though!
