For a while when I started getting this account here set up I was trying to figure out what kind of piece I wanted as my first submission, and now finally I thought this one would be a good introduction to me!

This is my character JD! A rendition of the Jersey Devil, and I wanted to draw him doing one of his nightly hobbies of hanging out by and empty beach at night away from humans, and going down a self reflective spiel. I'm really happy with the colors and lighting I managed to convey with this piece and hopefully I can replicate it in the future!
