This was... my first time doing a speedpaint of a humanoid OC at ALL i think... this is Ronnie! i can't concisely explain him LOL sorry just go poke around on his toyhouse profile(s) and you'll get something beginning to approach the gist <3

I'm still not like... the greeeeatest with humanoids and overall they're definitely something I want to continue to slowly improve at, but recently i've been doing a lot of practice with like... stylizing faces to look still like... consistently "my style" while retaining the Facial Features that make an OC Look Like Themselves! Basically I've been trying less and less to rely on just, "did I get the colors and hairstyle right" LOL

I had a lot of fun with this piece :3 It's always interesting for me to really study a character's face and try to translate their features in a way that feels natural for me, and I'm really pleased with how I did his eyes, the colors in his face, and the shading in his hair -w- it was fun to give him a shaggier style too... i loooove drawing hair like this xoxo theres a reason like 219312093123 of my OCs have some variation of "Fuckass Emo Mullet"

YEAH i will possibly have more to say in a comment at some point, I have a lot of Thoughts about this piece and this OC but I've said most of them in my dms with @vehemourn at this point and so the thought of cracking my brain back open and trying to remember like... how I said it cleanly the first time is tiring LOL
