Habitat and Observed Behavior

Commonly sighted in dense coniferous and mixed-decay forests, the Spiritus Solitarius Spinosus appears to follow individuals at a steady distance ranging between ten and forty meters. In some documented cases, it has remained in quiet pursuit for several days at a time. Despite its persistence, researchers have observed no vocalizations or signs of increased speed. It drifts silently, always present but never approaching.

Prolonged exposure to the creature has been linked to acute psychological effects, including escalating paranoia, auditory and visual hallucinations, and severe emotional dysregulation. Those affected describe a creeping dread that worsens in isolation. To date, there are no confirmed instances of direct physical aggression. However, regional accounts of hikers disappearing in areas associated with the entity continue to circulate. It must be noted that these areas are also home to several other unclassified phenomena, and no conclusive connection has been established...
