Prompt I : Finding your own Territory

Since the town is a mess, the forest is dangerous, and people are gone, you need to rely on yourself. This applies to your own safety. Where do you sleep, hide and rest?

Poor Athena... Once a beloved shepherd, guardian of a young girl, and a sister of two brothers... now facing the first time she truly ever has been alone. She cannot rest, for the memories haunt her even in rest. Her brothers, torn to shreds. The humans, mindlessly feasting on their flesh. She was barely lucky to avoid any harm.

A cavern, she finds... shielded by overgrown ivy. It's not warm. It's not welcoming. It barely feels like safety anymore. She had slept outside plenty of times, but... this cold? This cold feels different in her bones. Despite the cold, she moves into the shielded space, facing the entrance as she always did.

She truly is alone...

... for now.
