warm up sketch that ended up being overworked for hours, lol. I wanted to figure out how to blend the colors without using the blending brush (not really a fan on using it :P) I have a specific gouache brush set I have downloaded a while ago (the Turner Acryl Gouache set, I might have mentioned it before...) and I really want to learn how to utilize them. I think using the broader flat brush is a nice one to ~blend~. I worked on a single layer, so it might look a bit messy lol. (also, might have forgotten to color in the ear ... a bad habit of mine, haha)

the doodle on the left is a stylization memory type of thing. I have been reading the Lupin III manga (like, the very first series, not Shin Lupin III - YET) and I adore the style and ink work in there. a very ... outdated series for sure, but the artistry is chef kiss.
