Backstory: Born and raised on the Rook Islands, Anhur is a native Rakyat Islander from the Northern Rook Island.
Grew up alongside Citra and Vaasa, considered both to be good friends of his.
On the island, Anhur is known among the locals as the next great hunter and possible reincarnation of a Rakyat God of War.
Trained by his father in stealth and guerilla warfare while his mother taught him in magic and secrecy.
When he turned 12, his father took him back to Africa to get experience in killing from mercenary work and contract killing.
This led to him unlocking his Werelion form when he killed an elderly missionary in the Congo who was doing forced conversions.
Finding that the missionary was carrying an old iron cross on his person, a raid at his compound later revealed he was a Nazi Occultist and former member of Hitler's Inner Circle.
At the age of 25, Anhur had experience under his belt from contract killing to smuggling items such as diamonds, weapons and drugs.
He had been to many places in Africa along with parts of Asia, South America and Russia, doing many things that he wouldn't tell others unless asked.
His father and him went back to the Rook Islands for a break and to see how things were doing while they were gone.
Anhur's mother welcomed them back and said not much has changed although she mentions that Citra and Vaasa have visited from time to time asking about Anhur and when he'll be back.
Citra and Vaasa were happy that he was back as both young women missed him quite greatly.
Four years after Anhur returned, a deranged drug kingpin and slave trafficker known as Hoyt Volker arrived at the islands with an army of privateers intending to make a profit.
What the man failed to realize is that he should have known better than to walk into a lion's den.
With the legendary silver dragon knife in his possession from the tomb of Lin Cong, Anhur went berserk on Hoyt's privateers.
From freeing slaves to burning drug crops and even saving a group of American tourists with the help of a SoCal douchebag named Jason Brody and Vaasa's pirates.
Hoyt met his end with the silver dragon knife slicing his throat and blood being consumed.
In recent times after Hoyt's death, Anhur does contract work and smuggling to improve the quality of life on the rook islands.
From smuggling shipments of medicine, weapons and various other supplies.
Even selling the skins, furs, feathers and body parts of the local wildlife.
Rarely will he hold a cargo ship for ransom.
Survival Guide: "Considered to be the most dangerous person on the Rook Islands. Intel from the wire has mentioned that he made his first kill at a young age, possibly a former child soldier. Body inspection of a dead missionary from the Congo has the claw and bite marks of a large feline creature of sorts. Chatter from the locals has mentioned about the mother and father not being entirely human, more so the father as there's been tracks around the house that look like they belong to a lion along with the hearing of animal roars on certain nights. Has been to many places and has quite the high body count he leaves behind with some bearing the same markings just like the ones found on the missionary, Hoyt should have known better than to intrude upon a lion's den. Whatever or whoever Anhur Raiona Mangu is to be exactly, he's not human."
Relationships with other Characters:
Jason Brody: Encountered him when Jason was sent on a mission by Citra to look for him, with the notion that Anhur might be willing to help Jason on his spiritual path. Jason was told to look for the mark of the lion's mouth. Jason discovered him eating the uncooked flesh of a wild boar while up a tree. At first, Anhur didn't give a rat's ass about Jason's plight and considered killing him until he mentioned Hoyt in which Anhur demanded him to tell what he knows about the kingpin. If Jason does good work for the people on the islands, Anhur might train him to be more in touch with his instincts.
Dennis Rogers: When Anhur came back and Citra introduced the two to each other, he didn't think much of Dennis and considered him to be a person of no interest. Doesn't care if he drinks or gambles so long as he's not in the way. Dennis seems to be quite jealous and envious of Anhur as Citra would often talk about him.
Hurk: Consider the idiot from America to be harmless most of the time. Quite curious on how he was able to train monkeys.
Hoyt Volker: To Anhur, Hoyt is a vulture who intruded upon his home. Enjoyed disrupting his business and slicing his throat open.
Willis Huntley: Is content with ignoring the man in white when visiting Badtown. However, the man in white seems to have intent on gathering information about him. Called out the concealed C4 in Willis's house and told him he didn't have the balls to pull the trigger.
Citra Talugmai: Grew up with her alongside Vaasa and has a bunch of stories about her when they were young. While both believe in keeping traditions and practices alive, Anhur understood that the world was changing fast and that the Rakyat along with the island needed more resources to have a better quality of life. Citra has an odd belief that Anhur is the reincarnation of a great rakyat warrior and was quite upset when he left the island with his father.
Vaasa Montenegro: Put up with her crazy antics when they were younger along with her stalking. Implied from others that Vaasa has a strange lovesick obsession with Anhur, but may be willing to share with Citra.
Bambi "Buck" Hughes: Considers the mad Australian to be a dog in desperate need of an ass kicking. Anhur knew he had the upper hand when he encountered the man in the Badtown bar and made a smartass comment about how big cats like to snack on small deer. Enjoyed clawing out his neck and dumping the body in a swamp to be fed upon by Crocodiles.
