Appearance: Ruth is a fair skin yet pale looking young woman with pointed ears and a busty slim yet slightly muscular physique. She has White hair with Pink tips swept back and Blue eyes with a gold ring in them. Dresses similar to her father Vergil with a few differences such as the long silver buttoned coat with three separate coattails and gold lining is dark pink instead of blue and is hooded. Underneath her coat, Ruth wears a light pink ascot tie around her neck which hangs over a dark gray sleeveless vest that shows off her well toned arms and shoulders. She wears spiked leather gloves, a black gator skinned belt with a silver buckle, a dark pink scale pattern skirt with dark gray shorts underneath and tall black military style combat boots. Also around her neck and connected to a black metal choker is a Talisman of the Dragon.

Ruth's demonic power manifests physically through her left arm, being a reptilian-esque claw that extends up to her elbow. The forearm is almost completely covered in black scale-like skin, save for glowing dark pink streaks and red streaks running through it in its entirety. Her angelic power manifests physically through her right arm, being an avian-esque talon that extends up to her elbow. The forearm is also almost completely covered in white scale-like skin, save for glowing gold and blue streaks running through it in its entirety.

Ruth carries Red Yamato on the right side of her waist while White Queen is carried on her back.

Personality: Compared to her older half twin brother's serious and at times emotional and hot-headed attitude, Ruth is a calm and collected person with a bit of an introverted and quiet streak who observes others in a calculating manner. While she may not show much interest in others and sometimes acts cold and snarky if annoyed it doesn't mean she doesn't care for them she just rather not get too attached to people she doesn't know very well. However, despite her rather cold and indifferent behavior she does uphold the Code of Chivalry and will help out those in need while maintaining her own set of morals especially if she's dealing with someone rather rude and hostile. Like her father, she prefers not to touch firearms mostly because she finds them to be noisy and unreliable at times though she will use Crossbows if she has to or ranged attacks that originate from melee weapons.

Similar to her father, Ruth has a habit of speaking in a formal and polite tone though she may sound snobbish and condescending at times especially if she meets someone she doesn't particularly like.

Ruth is rather proud of her Demonic-Angelic heritage and doesn't feel ashamed of it, though she admits that her dual nature can get the best of her at times especially when she's fighting for too long or when she uses her Devil Trigger too much. This has resulted in her seeking out ways to balance out her soul such as wearing a magical talisman made by the Vampires of the Dracul Clan.

When it comes to family, Ruth is rather close with hers despite feeling that her mother Shamsiel embarrasses her at times though she does give the older Succubus the benefit of the doubt as Succubi tend to be rather affectionate Demons. She and her father always had a bit of a distant relationship though it wasn't anything negative. However, Ruth is quite determined and dead-set on keeping her family together, especially when she found out Dante was her uncle and Nero was her half-brother. She, alongside Nero stopped their father and uncle from killing each other with her saying that "it would break her mother's heart" to see them fighting though she didn't have an issue beating Vergil senseless for leaving and making her mother cry.

Ruth grew up hearing about the legend of her grandfather Sparda and was quite curious about his history to the point she found a Hellgate and went through it to find any information about the Dark Knight in Hell/The Demon World. While she didn't find much she did manage to come across her grandmother Eva and get her out of the infernal realm.

Background: Ruth is the daughter of Shamsiel Shahar, Succubus and Adviser to the Demon King of Edelland Lute Hende and Vergil Sparda the Dark Slayer, a mysterious man who keeps his past to himself. Growing up, Ruth would hear about the tales of her grandfather Sparda from her father while training in the way of the sword. For unexplained reasons, Vergil disappeared when she was young leaving her mother worried and sad with grief. This led to Ruth hardening her heart and continuing her training, but promising to find her father and bring him back with her.

Fast forward before the Red Grave City Incident, Ruth graduates from the Royal Knight Academy in Edelland's capital as a Knight. Still wanting to find her father she finds the Hellgate that he came from and goes through it, ending up in the area where the Devil May Cry Shop resides. There she takes up a job offer while hiding her name though Dante suspects who she might be, but doesn't say anything.

Near the end of the Red Grave City Incident, she and her half-brother Nero stopped their father and uncle from killing each other while fighting against Virgil and making him acknowledge their power. While she didn't get the chance to take Virgil back with her she was satisfied with knowing that he was alright and that her mother didn't have to worry anymore.

Weapons/Equipment:

Talisman of the Dragon: A magical talisman made by the Vampires of the Dracul Clan. Created to control the output of the demonic and angelic energy of a Nephilim when they activate their Devil Trigger. When enough Nephilim energy accumulates into the Talisman, the user is able to take on a Dragon-like Form.
Devil Bringer: Ruth's demonic left arm, and the physical manifestation of her demonic power.
Angel Bringer: Ruth's angelic right arm, and the physical manifestation of her angelic power.
White Queen: A customized White Durandal Sword with a motorcycle-like grip and a curved aspect to its blade. Has an "Exceed" System similar to her brother's sword and sprays Angelic Fire across the blade increasing its power. There are several other modifications such as being repairable through Ruth using her blood and delivering a painful shock to Demons and People if they try to grab it.
Red Yamato (Devil Arm): A red blade version of her father's Yamato, a magical katana made from Ruth's own power. Imbued with the Nephilim energy of her own soul, it can absorb crystalized demon blood to increase it's own power and switch between Demonic or Angelic Element.
Silver Combat Cross: A Whip Flail-like weapon used to combat against Demons and other unholy creatures. Forged of cast iron and blessed, it has been imbued with a thorn from the Crown of Thorns that Jesus wore prior to his Crucifixion.
Nemean (Devil Arm): A pair of large metal spike gauntlets with an animalistic look. The gauntlets resemble the snarling silverish-gold heads of lions. As they are "blessed with great strength", many of Nemean's punches can cause tremors and explosive waves, sending enemies back and knocking them down with powerful roars.
Agni and Rudra (Devil Arm)
Uriel (Devil Arm): An ornate looking longbow made of devilish metal cursed to absorb the power of angels. Imbued with angelic energy, it can fire and rain down bolts of light upon enemies, causing them intense burns.
Dragonslayer (Devil Arm): An ancient sword-spear from the old days of the Demon Realm. Once wielded by a previous Demon King, it was imbued with a fierce lightning that descended upon distant enemies.
Muramasa (Devil Arm): A demonic katana belonging to a rare set of swords forged by a mad swordsmith once tormented by demons. Feasts on blood and demonic energy to increase its strength.
Harbinger (Devil Arm): A large battle axe with two blades on both sides, has a long handle ending in a sharp point at the top. Mostly has a grayish tone, it features a screaming Demon on the head of the axe. Said to be made from a devilish metal, it can call forth storms of ice and lightning onto enemies.

Devil Trigger:

Initially, when Ruth used her Devil Trigger, her hair would turn pure white and dark pink glowing vein-like patterns would spread across her face, chest, back and arms while her eyes and coat would glow with a dark pink aura. Wings, Curved Horns and a Demonic Tail would also manifest from her Demonic Energy. She had a hard time controlling it due to the vast amount of demonic-angelic energy that was being channeled causing increased aggression and brutality. After going to Castlevania and acquiring a Talisman of the Dragon from the Dracul Clan she was able to get it under control along with some intense training.

Unlocked her full Devil Trigger form when she was determined to keep her uncle and father from killing each other. Appears as a feminine angelic-looking demon with six spectral wings made of demonic and angelic energy and wearing black and white armor-like scales complete with a visor helmet-like head and sharp, demonic teeth. Also grows long, curved horns, a thick reptilian tail with a barbed tip and dark pink arm-mounted blades. Ruth gains demonic purple pupils with sharp irises and the sclera within her eyes turn black.
