Day four is for 'Alae Ke'oke'o, or Hawaiian Coot, a small waterbird endemic to Hawai'i.
They are smaller than the American Coot, but the frontal shield above their bill is larger and more bulbous.

I struggled with how to draw them, I wanted to show their feet but there were also so many pictures of them just swimming, I went for a more chill/relaxed vibe for this piece. ♥
