These are the Toriel and Astriel designs for my Aviantale AU, though there was a lot planned out in my head for the story, it unfortunately hasn't been fully fleshed out nor all the character designs made to give it a full visual.

This AU originally started with a STRONG desire to draw out and detail feathers....thus, Aviantale was made. At this point I feel I've improved at drawing out wings and thus the old WIPs feel outdated at this point. Maybe one day I'll get back to them and redo them. <'3

For Toriel's and Asriel's story, it starts very similar to the original. Asriel found and befriended the first fallen human--Chara and was raised together as siblings. Though becoming the best of friends, Chara still had her disliking of the human world despite how much she'd hear from Asriel how he'd like to go tot he surface. Chara had eventually picked up the habit to play with a toy bow, lacking the arrows, though she enjoyed pretending to fire arrows in their games--sometimes wishing she actually had a real set to use. Their tragic story is practically the same, Chara making a plan with Asriel to make it to the surface by using her own death to their advantage. Though Asriel has his own wings in this AU, they were sadly not strong enough to grant him usable flight and was not able to escape to the skies for safety from the arrows shot at him--thus leading to his death in his return to the Bird Cage.
