Back in the day I was very active in the Danny Phantom franchise, even made up my own AU of it involving mythical beasts like dragons, werewolves, vampires, witchcraft etc. This version is Daniel (Danny) Fenton, though his werepire form goes by the name Helsing. While I am not active in the fandom anymore, I still really enjoy the art I've made for it and decided to keep it around. :3

This AU settles in a more magical based world where the Fenton family are skilled hunters of beasts and monsters of dark origins. Creatures who have infectious blood that are called 'black veins' (due to their blood being oil-black in color, thus turning their veins black.) that are destructive beasts that prey on mortal beings. Maddie and Jack seek to open the portal within their stronghold to reach Transylvania where Count Vlad was said to have been imprisoned. They seek to enter and end Vlad's existence to cleanse the family name...however their efforts have been proving bleak as time and time again it's ended in failure.

Going by the usual way of how Danny got his powers in the show, Danny here would do practically the same, though the curse that was designed to kill all who tried to enter instead transformed Danny's life forever. He having to learn how to control and use his Black Vein abilities, he and his friends Sam and Tucker seek to aid in defending the town of Grimtear from the looming threats of the unholy beasts.
