In the Monster Hunter x Undertale AU of mine, there are 7 special souls that exist within the current timeline that are connected to the original 7 souls that created the protective seal that protects the twin 'hearts' of Mt Ebott. These 'hearts' are the root of the flow of magic into the world.

Within the story of Ancienttale, the 7 souls are needed to break the seal, however the original 7 are no longer with the living...but their decedents are.
Names have no yet be determined, but will be settled at a later date.

The Soul of Perseverance, having died from a hunt gone completely wrong, his trusted partner took his soul to save the rest of the team. Gaining the soul's markings along his being, this rabbit lost his carefree nature and became a serious, solid leader of a hunting group. He trains wulgs on his downtime, using just his hands--and fists--to keep the unruly beasts at bay.

The Soul of Bravery, once a human girl who worked on a rice field with a dog commoner companion, gave her life to save the dog commoner from a wild monster attack. Not wanting her friend's life to have been lost for nothing, the canine friend took the girl's soul and vowed to become a powerful hunter to prevent such loss from happening again.

Soul of Justice is a lawman in study, working his way into the guild's court to speak of the social connections between different hunting fleets and to be sure all hunts are done by the book. Knowing full well the balance within the different ecosystems can be very delicate, he seeks to keep the balance in check and not have hunters go rogue.
