My part of an Art Trade with leonardoxy : it's his OC: Drawsen channeling a protection glyph from his Dreambaton against a group of Shadow creatures.

I tried to incorporate a bit of each thing you described, as you can see with the two symbols combined to cast the magic, as for the creatures... i didn't knew what to incorporate, so i made some vague figures.
