Weapon: MA-78 assault rifle
Description:
In the aftermath of event 343 in which a EMP device was detonated by the pfhor in (classified), various MA-75 rifles were left unusable by the combination of the EMP and the subsequent concussion blast, which led to search for an inmediate revamp.
The MA-78 was created in response to this demand, it not only has a new mechanism (which accepts vaccum-enabled rounds), it also spawned a new series of customization options.
Attachments that the MA-78 can accept go as follows (not mentioned are other ones like the FRID class flamethrower module)

M-CLASS ULTRA HIGH YIELD GRENADE LAUNCHER MODULE (Gen2)
The grenade launcher module also recieved a revamp, it now accepts more types of grenades, like flash grenades, smoke grenades, incendiary grenades and the prototype Sub-Zero grenade

MODULAR FLECHETTE WEAPON SYSTEM
The MFWS (Flechette gun) was created to counter the need for a weapon specialized in underwater warfare, it's fed by 10mm flechette rounds from an horizontal magazine.
In addition to the normal flechette, it also accepts explosive flechette ammunition.

APOLLO CLASS UNDERBARREL FUSION GUN
UESC's success in fusion techology led to the creation of this fusion gun, increasing the MA-78 effectiveness in vaccum areas or in cases where it's vaccum enabled ammunition is not very effective, like the Zeus Class fusion pistol, it has a charging function and a better mechanism that decreases the risk of overload explosions.

MPOG scope (Gen2)/ Forward tactical grip
The MPOG scope was the second attachment to recieve a revamp, it now has more levels of Zoom, resists powerfull EMP discharges, and has a special feature that allows the user to fully customize the reticle.
