Maria Monserrat has always been a fighter, going against his parents better wishes to inherit a family business and instead opting to enlist on the Marine corps to defend humanity, born in 2528 on the military world of Reach, her skills and resillence eventually led her to take ODST training and participate in operations like the Battle of Fumirole and the ill-fated defense of her homeworld, her next op being Operation DAWNHAMMER with ODST Alpha-Five squad, in which they managed to take the Conduit from the Covenant, but failed to escape the city before the Covenant carrier orbiting the city of New Mombasa jumped into slipspace, the resulting blast engaging the Conduit's self-preservation measures and creating a dimensional wormhole that teleporte her and the rest of Alpha-Five squad into locations unknown...
