My first ever attempt at style emulation! I'm really, really proud of how this came out~ :D
People have always said the Tezuka influence in my art style is readily apparent, even those of which who aren't familiar with anything except his most popular works. While drawing (something completely unrelated to Tezuka) in public, I've once had a nosy old lady take a peek at my sketchbook and ask me if I was drawing "the Astro Boy". xD
I was getting just a bit annoyed at how modern-anime-y a lot of artwork of my favourite Tezuka characters tends to be, and I desired to view Tezuka-style Astro Boy 2003!Rock, so, I decided to see if I had the skillset required to take matters into my own paws. It seems, I do! I promise I will use my newfound powers for acts of good, and never in service of evil or wickedness!
Putting a drawing of the same scene but in my own style was simply an afterthought, but, I really like being able to compare and contrast. My characters are so... chewy and gummy and plastic looking. P: noms Tastes like a Sour Patch Kid... o_o
