Edited it and cropped it to have a better half / half focus on both Shadow and Maria. (She was in the center before and it looked a little... odd... by my current art knowledge / standards ^^;)

Now that the Sonic 3 movie, and the Shadow Generations game is out, they both show scenes of how Shadow and Maria met. But before then, this was how I imagined it.
