In this drawing, Nick had no more energy, so he turned back into a human in enemy territory. Unfortunately, he isn't alone. Nick has no idea what will happen to him, but since I ship him and Cyclops, I know the latter will just let him go. Probably. After weighing his options, from the most awful to just letting him go.( • ̀ω•́ )✧

This is a canon divergence that takes place a few years after season 2, but the ending and season 3 never happened. The human heroes are adults.
