A 2023 commission I did for the lovely folks at SurpriseRoundRPG! This is a monster design for their Pathfinder game, the Ebon Ward. A horrific creature brought into being by flesh-sculpting magic, I was challenged to make a chimeric abomination that didn't look stitched together - as is the classic approach. I chose to try and make it look more like something that evolved naturally! With a bit of folkloric nastiness, of course.
