Over the years, I've come up with several story ideas that I didn't complete for one reason or another. IO is one of those. I wrote myself into a corner. It was about a guy who gave up his soul to become and Immortal Object in order to kill the person (his best friend) who had cursed his husband (maybe fiance?), freezing him in ice/crystal. The best friend had also become an Immortal Object and only an IO can kill another IO. During the MC's journey, he meets another guy and slowly falls in love with him. At the same time, his husband is freed from the curse. I was going to write the husband as a sort of an asshole so I could have the OC and New Guy get together, but I could never make it feel like something that wasn't forced. The best I could do later on was remember it as an album cover, "making" it an OST, as if it was a movie within the universe of Maikai.
