Basilica Cross is a rare Monster: A Gashadokuro, a skeletal monster made of the bones from hundreds of angry victims of famine and war. Originally, he was “born” a full-sized Gasha, towering over homes and even some tree lines. But unable to control this sudden power, most of it burned off through his eyes and he shrunk to his current size. Though initially fueled by hate, having burnt much of that off, his hate morphed into determination to protect other Monsters from similar fates. By attacking Adventurers to protect Monsters, he would become a powerful Savior in time. He would spend years perfecting his gun play and taking down some of the strongest Adventurers that dared to hurt Monsters that identified as pacifists.

But no good deed goes unpunished.

Basilica would find himself against the most powerful Adventures Guild, Silver Rage. An anti-Monster guild, Silver Rage didn’t care that the Monsters Basilica protected were pacifists and viciously wiped them out, despite Basilica’s best efforts. The hundreds of Monsters under his protection died and their rage fueled Basilica, allowing him to return to his full form. Though he didn’t wipe out Silver Rage, he at least forced them to retreat. After letting the angry drain from him, Basilica mourned for days and vowed to get stronger and destroy every member of Silver Rage. Though he continued his role as a Wandering Savior, he also began to Defeat every Boss Monster he came across to gain more EXP and thus more strength.

After many years, he’s finally made his way to Acute, the current Final Boss of the Tower of Babel. However, he wasn’t ready for the results of just laying his sockets on this Boss Monster....
