This is the end result of months and months of brainstorming a fan species for the Star Control(or Free Stars) universe, a Wolpertinger-like race of mammalian/silicon-based lifeform. The Isel(pronounced "ee-sell"), hence their icy cold ships called "Glaciers" are highly adapted to the cold, should they get exposed to extreme heat, and they would go catatonic.
