Since I've recently been bit by the Balto bug, I figured it was time to revamp my Balto II AU and its characters. This muscular lady is Serena, the sister of Steele and mother of Brook. She originally had green eyes and a green bandanna to match, but I recently learned that purebred Alaskan malamutes only have brown eyes. (Steele is also canonically purebred. According to the filmmakers, his eyes are light blue to reflect his treacherous nature.) To draw her, I referenced pictures of Jenna and Steele to try to get a feminine malamute. I've always struggled with the Balto style, but I think I did better this time than I did the last time I attempted it several years ago.

Pups: Brook, a few currently unnamed and un-designed wolf dogs.
