Ref is from 2022. It was my first time drawing them, so the style isn't concrete. I tried to mix the styles in the first The Secret Of NIMH film and the Redwall TV series. Their features are meant to be a bit of a mix between mice and rats. The decision to give them two cape colors is partially because of Batman, but I was mostly thinking of Lando Calrissian from the original Star Wars trilogy. Their head marking is mostly a nod to Blackberry from the film Watership Down, but Hazel and Fiver have been portrayed with the marking in the TV series and the Netflix miniseries. You might wonder: How did you get the palettes from the album covers? Answer: I used this! coolors.co/image-picker I'll have to keep this in mind when I want to use colors from images again. It really came in handy!

Their design isn't set in stone! I just wanted to whip something together for Art Fight. I might make some tweaks to it afterward.
