A ninetails from Pokémon with the fur colour of the previous evolution, Vulpix. This could be due to erythrism (an increase in red pigments) or some form of bug when they evolved from a vulpix, as the colours are picked from there. Six of the tails are missing, bringing the total down to three - like a vulpix [editor's note: despite using reference I forgot vulpix have six tails when grown, not three but I'm gonna leave the art as is]. Their hair is even curled up like a vulpix's.

The fireblast behind them is in the shape of the anosmia awareness ribbon, hence the redder centre and the bow the ninetails is wearing.

DisabledPride2025 is a tag/project I dropped over on bluesky to spotlight a gofundme. Wanted to increase its visibility without spam, heavily referenced official Pokémon art for this piece. Anosmia is the partial or full loss of sense of smell, so this Ninetails has an x-shaped scar where the nose would be and a red colour scheme to go with the awareness ribbon. I somehow forgot vulpix have six tails and not three so oops.
