I've been thinking about ways to organise all the things happening in my object story in a way that would make sense to me, and one of the artists I follow on tumblr (@/skeletoninthemelonland) has one of their stories divided into Seasons, and I like the concept of that A LOT
I wouldn't necessary use "seasons" for mine, but maybe parts, or name them by the location since I already have most of my ocs divided by it
So, there's "Haunted house" that's kind of a prologue to everything. Anything that has to do with young Harriet and her past goes there, and it could "unravel" in-between the other parts (something like a flashback thingy)
"Computer warehouse" is the actual start of the story. It's where she buys a broken computer (rip Preston) and meets Martin and stuff. When they go back there they discover that there's a bunch of computer object living there (and mice, OF COURSE THE MICE-). There's also a side plot about an unsolved murder case that finally gets solved because of one of the objects there, but shhh...

"Abandoned factory" is what happens after that. It's where Harriet finds Pepper, and an event (I still have to figure out what) happens in Harriet's hometown that leads her to discover an old factory deep in the forest with stray objects living inside (so like Cassie and Sylvie). There's more happening, but that's the main stuff

And finally there's something I'm going to name "Radio station" for now. I have to yet to talk about it, but basically Harriet gets a chance to work at a radio station, but declines it like an idiot and instantly regrets it (ᵕ ´ ∇ ˋ ˶)
The stuff with Harriet's dad and his tapes happens alongside everything else of course
Idk I'm just throwing ideas and seeing what sticks. The story might be a complete nonsense with a lot of wasted potential, but I don't care. I've never made a proper story before and I never will, but I like what I have so far, and the fact that I can rotate it in my head and keep my brain busy
