OC: Zircon

Blair's younger sibling, the two share a deity father they both despise. Their father initially had great expectations of Zircon, hoping they would ascend into a proper godhood so he could establish his dominance with his offspring in the rank of celestial. However, Zircon felt no allure towards the life of a god dependent on their followers, instead opting to live as a long-living mortal. The white scars on their body that would take a mineral-like appearance were a result of their father violently throwing them out of the heavenly realm, unwilling to recognize a child who not only held no ambition towards ascension, but who also turned out to be unable to have offspring of their own. 

Once Blair ascends after committing patricide, Zircon becomes one of Blair's followers and acts as a seer in one of their temples, guiding mortals and protecting the small town they now reside in. Though self conscious about their large size and their dragonic lower half, Zircon sincerely cares for the people of their home and dotes on them a great deal. They're knowledgeable of word magic and know words and spells forgotten by mortals, and they're also capable of controlling and creating fire with their core of magic.
