i think it is actually important to the process tbh. i need to take my own practices to heart more often and truly let some of my stuff "marinate" before posting. and also sometimes just keep going at a piece!!! i'm convincing myself it's okay to keep doing something over and over until ur really satisfied with the results!

there was something so off that bothered me on the last fullbody reference art i did cuz i just didn't think it... aligned? with the one i did back in early 2023. if that makes sense. like yeah i improved in coloring, i think, but everywhere else i really seemed to regress which was super frustrating. it just did not match up with the image in my head. thought i could also do some stylistic experiments with it and that turned out, bad! so!!!! i made it a point to get exactly where i wanted with it!!! and now i think i'm satisfied :]
