In the event of a confrontation, stay calm; Retreat slowly whilst facing the specimen, make yourself appear tall, and make as much noise as possible!
I think the title sums this up!
I’ve been watching public perception of Roblox in particular absolutely burn to the ground recently, ESPECIALLY in light of their arguably terrible decision to either give them your face to be allowed to talk to only people your age, or be entirely barred from using the chat feature altogether. I’m following the development of a few roleplay games over there. I’ve seen the playerbase’s reactions to the idea, and how disastrous this could be for the genre of games altogether.
That made me wonder though, is this REALLY the only space we have for public roleplay now? REEEEALLLY?
Granted, I did see a few people mention returning to forums or specific servers for the type of stuff, although certainly not enough for my liking.
A while back now, I came across a video where OP was designing cats for a roleplay server they helped host, and I think I genuinely had the biggest Mr Boss “fuck, it’s genius” moment I’ve had in a LONG time. Especially over the design pool.
I’d love to be a part of or possibly even make something like this (though maybe not to this massive extent). Though, is there still any demand outwith specific fandoms? This MAY or may not be something I follow up on in the future… evil smirk…
