Weeks after Caden discovered Drake's little "curse," Caden took them to a gathering of sorts in the historical castle on Mt. Chiron. Drake was feeling out of their comfort zone, so many eyes looking and so many different conversations. Caden noticed and decided to take Drake on a Waltz on the balcony, a little alone time together as the two danced on a wintery sunset.

Unintentionally, I started doing a yearly art for Drake in their Snow Princess form., mainly because Winter felt like the best time to draw them in this form. I wanted to do one with Caden with them too, as part of the reason for the Ambassador attire was to match with Drake's Snow Princess form. I was going back and forth and even talked with multiple friends on what to do for the background and landed on a balcony. I wanted it to be at sunset and with light coming from the entrance in a way.
There is something so precious about the two here, it might be the posing, the shading, or the joy on Caden's face. The sky also has this sort of comforting feel to it with the snow falling around them. It feels so much like a fairytale picture with how soothing it is. Gotta say, I'm so proud of this image.
