How many usernames have you had? (You don't have to share them!)
I've had three distinct ones before my current one, though the one that probably rings bells to anyone is SobiMoppi.
What does your current username mean?
Ceradenia, with and i, is a genus of ferns. I wanted a name that relates to ferns since my irl nickname is close to ferns, plus it shares the first letter with my irl name. At first I went with the proper spelling, but eventually switched to Ceradenja with a j to make it more distinct and it rolls of the tongue more nicely.
What is the first program you used to make digital art?
Technically Paint, but I started using Photoshop 7.0 pretty quickly.
Where did you first start posting your art?
The very first would probably be Gingaworld Oekaki (rip </3), or a finnish Pokémon forum.
What is the first piece of media you drew fanart for?
Pokémon I'm pretty sure. I've been a fan since I was three.
Who was your first self-insert/persona/fursona? What did they mean to you?
The first one was a one-off brown/red dog I drew while at the dentist, though the first real sona was a grey/white husky that I drew at around age 11. The first one I actually got attached to was Jaffa who I created at age 11-12, who was (and still is, though desaturated) blue/turquoise/purple dog. She actually ended up being my secondary sona again after a long time of being unused.
Who is your current self-insert/persona/fursona? How are they different to your first?
I have three (+ several fandomsonas) sonas actually! My main/primary is Fasu, who is a snow leopard / lynx robot. They're a representation of my mind, and very often end up being in my vent art oops. My secondary/nsfw-sona is Jaffa, who I talked about above. She represents my body and is more of the outgoing flashy person I'd like to be. My tertiary sona / soul personification is Sielu. It's a noodly ferret/dragon/thing that's also my page doll. It represents, surprisingly, my soul. This mind/body/soul categorization was initially an accidental discovery, as was the fact that they all together also embody one of my preferred pronouns each.
What phases/styles has your art gone through? (e.g. Did you have an anime era, a cartoon style, a watercolour phase?)
I think the only really distinct phase would be in 2016-ish when I drew a lot of lineless art.
What/who do you think has influenced your art style the most?
Ginga series probably. I've tried working out most of the style quirks but I'm pretty sure it can still be seen in some ways.
What/who inspired you to be an artist?
Again, Ginga. Though I'm pretty lucky to have had a very encouraging family too so that's helped. Especially my dad was always helping me with my digital endeavours.
What tools are integral to your current workflow? (e.g. Programs, brushes, references.)
I work currently on Clip Studio Paint so. That? One of my favorite brushes is called FLAT OIL which I like to use a lot, besides that I use a lot of basic brushes haha.
What improvements have you made recently?
I've been working a lot in animation lately, improving workflow and going with a "less is more" mentality.
What steps would you like to take in the future?
Get that comic going.
