Here's a one-page comic of how I'd imagine it would be like for Link to have the master sword. Canonically, he found it at around 12 years old, right? I'd like to think maybe he'd have prophetic dreams like he did in the beginning of Ocarina of Time. All the while the master sword calls to him, because she (Fi) knows what he's about to go through.
