took this one from vulpineapple and added a couple questions of my own.
also also quick update, I bought an ipad :3 it will arrive hopefully this week, but for some reason they won't ship the apple pencil for another few weeks so i guess i won't get that til next month??? but when that arrives, I won't be drawing much with my phone anymore yippeeee

How many sonas do you have?

I currently have one main fursona and two secondaries, and one tertiary that currently doesn't have much lore or personality and is in need of a slight redesign I think.

Who is your main persona? (Could be any kind of sona, like a fursona or a ponysona.)

Star is my main 'true' fursona. they are a feline / cervine hybrid sort of...

Which sona most accurately represents you? This could be physically, personality wise, whatever you think fits best.

Star. They were created to represent me, originally as a humanoid but later redesigned into a fursona. while we do not share the same looks, they're inspired by the same aesthetics I like and share most of my personality and interests.

Which sona do you use most frequently? Why?

I've actually been using Sylvan, one of my secondary sonas, more frequently than any other sona. this was due to me feeling heavily disconnected from Star for a while as they had close connections to my ex's fursona. i like Sylvan's design quite a bit more, although he doesn't represent me as a whole, but rather the masc feeling and nature loving part of me.

Do any of your fursonas have lore? Describe it in as much detail as you want.

Star and Scarlett are the living forms of stars. while these living stars are not born as one specific gender, they do express themselves differently and are capable of feeling like one or more genders. Star is genderfluid/non-binary (they/them) and Scarlett is agender (he/it). their living forms can continue to exist as long as their original star exists/'lives', but the living forms still need to eat drink sleep etc, they're not really immortal.
Scarlett was around on Earth before Star was. also it's quite a bit stronger and taller than Star. the actual story part of the lore hasn't really been done yet, there's still parts I wanna work on with overall lore about their existences anyways.

Sona(s) you feel you neglect? (Don’t draw enough, doesn’t have lore, etc)

Merle, the tertiary sona, doesn't have any lore or personality yet, and I want to redesign them. I think Sylvan deserves to have lore too though, he has a bit in my head but I haven't tried to flesh it out much.

What did your first sona look like? Describe them or show a picture.

my first fursona was a very plain, generic, black and white jackalope named Luna. i didn't keep them as a sona for very long.

How does your first sona contrast with your current one(s)?

Luna didn't really represent me well, but Star was created specifically to be a close representation of me.

What were the inspirations for your sonas’ names, be it past or present?

Star - i named myself after a star (Altair, the brightest star in the Aquila constellation, also means something like hawk or eagle so it's related to my bird special interest too) so it felt appropriate to name them that. I didn't want my sona to have the same name as me cuz it would get confusing.
Sylvan - the name means forest. Sylvan is the representation of my love for nature and plants, and he spends a lot of time in forests so... yeah.
Scarlett Lycoris - the name Scarlett was inspired by a post i saw on twitter about nb people needing to name themselves cooler things, and attached to the post was a screenshot of Scarlet Overkill lol. Lycoris is from the latin name for spider lilies, which often represent death; as Scarlett is the physical living form of a red giant star, which is the dying phase of a star's life, it felt fitting.

Do you have a sona related to a fandom? Show or describe them!

I haven't drawn them but I have personas in my head depending on which piece of media i'm fixated on. maladaptive daydreaming things ig.

Do your sonas have a common theme amongst them? A similar personality, or maybe a shared aesthetic?

the main 3 have the same star on their chests, although i'm not sure how i'd link Sylvan to the stars yet. it's just mostly cuz i like the pattern... they all represent parts of me though.

Which sona have you had the longest? What about them made them stick around for so long?

actively used sonas, Star has been here the longest because well... they're like me.

Which of your sonas is the least like you? In what way?

i guess Scarlett, but that's mostly because i think it would be more of ambivert, while star and sylvan and myself are introverts. he still represents part of me so i think that's the only thing that sets him further apart.
