Here's an old drawing I made on Miiverse during the WiiU & 3DS era.
(Gosh, I miss Miiverse. 😞)

I was playing DK64 for the first time in 2015. I decided to color my drawing b/c Miiverse drawings were limited with just 1 color. You had to get creative with your drawings by using shading, cross-hatching, etc. I also added something new - I made the DK64 logo just to go along with my Miiverse drawing.

I made this drawing in reaction to the killer tomatoes screenshot that I took in DK64. I had fun drawing Chunky Kong. I drew this b/c in the game it's established that Chunky Kong is a coward. That's why he's scared.

Speaking of Miiverse, it was really cool that you could share your own personal gaming journal with screenshots or drawings with other people online. Sometimes, people would share tips and tricks with each other. Of course, there were the memes. Both good and bad.

What was also cool is that the creators of the video games would interact with the Miiverse community by either asking questions or gave players a challenge to try out in video games. Or that they would do a type of interview that talks about the process of making said games.

Sometime, I need to go back and play DK64 again.
I never finished it. The last level I stopped at was Creepy Castle. One of the things that I liked about DK64 was the DK Rap at the beginning of the game.
