"BURRR! The suits had me install a firewall on your imagination!"

RULES:
Answer each question in as much detail as you like. Skip anything you don't know or would prefer not to answer.
How many usernames have you had? (You don't have to share them!)
Uhhh officially two, though I've went by/tried out several
On deviantart my first username was kirbs-is-precious (I was in a kirby phase) and unofficially used squ1shii for a time this was when i was 11
crispyleaves123 is from [----] I created when i was 10 and I used it after the previously mentioned ones (though I've always used the nickname crispy). I've also used oofloof123 on wattpad x_x
What does your current username mean?
Nothing really, autumn isn't even my favourite season (I can't choose a fave because I love/hate each one equally for different reasons)
Just randomly thought it up when I was 10
What is the first program you used to make digital art?
Either autodesk sketchbook, infinite painter, or flipaclip
Where did you first start posting your art?
Deviantart since about 5 1/2 years ago, it remains my main site to this day (I hate dA's ai and politics and egrgrehgrhgrg BUT it feels like a home so I aint leaving)
What is the first piece of media you drew fanart for?
That I can recall, prrrrooooobably a playstation game when I was little. I had this story called The Mysterious Gate ("The Mastereas Gate") and it was this massive crossover of a bunch of stuff. Just to name something as the first I'm going with Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.
Who was your first self-insert/persona/fursona? What did they mean to you?
A fox named FoxFire, she was important to me obv but I never drew her that much :( She and my other ocs at the time were my way of participating in the online art community which I was new to and I felt very proud of them. I did keep it a secret to most people so it was like this "secret identity" xd
What phases/styles has your art gone through? (e.g. an anime era, a watercolour phase?)
There is too much to answer concisely so I'll just say it revolves around particular brushes (big Genius pen phase, if you use ibispaint you might know it) or aesthetics I'm into. Sometimes it's formulaic stuff, particularly during artfight where I'd have styles of backgrounds n stuff. I used to be a super inconsistently styled artist, more recently I've settled into some. Back then drawings one week apart could look drastically different.
What/who do you think has influenced your art style the most?
Overall I'm not sure, though I notice sometimes my favourite artists'/friends' styles sometimes influence small details. Oh, but for dragons I'd say Verasaii :) And when I was 11 the way I drew eyes was based on those gacha eye shading tutorials.
What/who inspired you to be an artist?
I've always been an artist since I was super little so I can't say that far. Though seeing a friend's drawing one time when I was 11 made me a bit jealous and I wanted to start taking art more seriously. If it wasn't obvious by now, 11 was when i started existing /j
What tools are integral to your current workflow? (e.g. Programs, brushes, references.)
ibisPaint X ALL THE WAY!! i love it so much (please give back 8hr premium brush use....pls). I prefer sketching things on paper then importing them. I have several brushes I use often, one being a canvas-textured brush I created. Also my stylus, I will die without it.
What improvements have you made recently?
I'd say scenes, definitely. You see, I used to be against using other people's brushes because it felt wrong fsr, but then I got over that and grass/leaf brushes have changed my LIFE. Also in traditional art, specifically watercolour. Being digital primarily when I was younger has hurt my traditional art, but recent years I've drawn on paper much more and I'm getting better at it.
What steps would you like to take in the future?
Continue improving my traditional art skills, improve my compositions and perspectives so my art looks more interesting, and definitely more consistency with how I draw characters (with different angles n stuff).
tagging whoever cares enough to read any of this :]
I only have two so far (would be three HAD I NOT MERGED THE LAYERS WITH MY NAME) but I will keep updating this, likely December every year unless I feel like making some extras :)
There's multiple years available and I can make other years if requested

Paint splatter

Purple glow

On the off chance a WoF fan sees this here are bases I made last year :] mostly headshots because I'm too lazy to draw entire dragons (I do have an old HiveWing fullbody though)
They can be accessed from sta.sh or downloaded directly from here. Only adding the newest set in here however.
I used the digital pen on ibispaintx at 4.0px if you want to make base edits

How many years have you participated?
This will be my 4th year (yikes it's already been this long)
Has your team ever won?
I've won in 2022 and 2023 (Bloom and Werewolves, respectively)
What was your favorite past theme?
Out of the ones I've participated in, I liked Bloom/Wither. Out of all of them, I really like Sugar/Spice and Dreams/Nightmares (I would've gone with spice and dreams)
What team/theme are you hoping for this year?
Arctic vs. Tropic! That's what I voted the previous year, too. I'd choose tropic. These aren't actual choices (afaik, I forgot the options this year) but i'd dig a knights vs. dragons or a land vs. sea. I would also love a grammarly vs. skip ad /j
Do you do:
Friendly fire?: Yep :]
Revenges?: Of course
Chains?: Sure (I'm always too nervous to start them myself but I'd love to do a chain or two this year! Not too many, though. First, I have 8 overdue revenges. Second..... we don't talk about my bookmarks😬 I haven't even looked at them yet so if you asked how many i couldn't tell you)
Whats your favorite thing to see in attacks against you?
Idk I like any attack! But I especially love character interactions, jokes, or anything that kinda dives into the character itself. I like it when people get creative :]
On a scale of 1-10, how much will you be participating in art fight this year?
Trying for an 10 but since I'm moving (for the...3rd time during an artfight? like every summer I move istg) it might be a 7 or 8. I don't expect myself to pump out 89 attacks + 2 personal arts like I did during bloom/wither (SOMEHOW!?) but as much as I can, maybe 40-50.
hi hi decided I'd do this

fun fact: I know every country flag in the world :) (bit rusty on some tho. frickin. chad and romania.)
hobbies/interests: I enjoy drawing obviously, reading, watching aviation disaster documentaries (i would watch those ON a plane, too), 2000's stuff/webcore/frutiger aero, vintage crafts/journal making, card making, and learning random stuff
fandom wise it would be object shows, wings of fire (not as much at the moment), and homestar runner, those are the main ones
dream job: maybe scientist, more in the marine/bio/zoology field, used to be astronomy but I don't think it's the right fit for me. Other option is becoming an animator or smthn.
