Fanart of Kingsley from the PS1 game, Kingsley's Adventure. While it is well known that Nintendo and Sega have their own respective fox mascots via Fox McCloud and Tails respectively, Kingsley is Sony's relatively unknown entry.

The premise of the game is that Kingsley is an orphaned fox cub brought up in a kingdom of rabbits (which is a plotline in of itself) and - in order to prove himself as a True Knight - must set out and retrieve some stolen artefacts from an evil rat overlord known as Bad Custard.

The art style of this game is just cute as all hell and it's just a fun journey through a medieval world of anthropomorphic animals. Kinda something of a precursor to Sly Cooper, in a way. The developers actually wanted to do something very similar to the Legend of Zelda so this means that the characters talk in garbled sounds vs. having any real dialogue and the game mechanics kinda work in the same way.

Anyway, I've been meaning to draw this little guy for years as there isn't a lot of fanart or appreciation for this game out there. I'm still kinda eh about the pose but I just got tired of tweaking and looking at it so just called it a day. It supposed to be just a fun lil doodle, after all.
