The reason Coop and Felyna aren't often seen close is obvious. They do not like eachother. And due to certain events later on, Felyna grew to never forgive Coop and trust him.

Coop himself, in spite of having a similar disposition to Felyna is actually much closer to DG in their execution. As such, the personality friction is real.

Luckily, Coop is a day shift worker and Felyna works at night. So they do not get to work together much. But DG has to reel em in when they do, and she is not the best de-escalator.
