Resembling large kites with barnacles, these swimmers can reach 40 knots at top speed. Sometimes seen slithering on land they are fiercely territorial wherever they go and will make every effort to drive anyone away. Using the ports on their backs they can coat themselves in superheated plasma or send out flying leeches to do its bidding.
