The dragon-bird of Illinois. This beast fed on large mammals until the aftermath of a war gave it a taste for human flesh. It fed on Native Americans until they lured it into a trap inspired by the Great Spirits.
The evolution and abilities of this dragon is mostly educated speculation as the original pictographs were destroyed ages ago by quarrymen. Written accounts are all that's left to go on, and many see this creature as a chimera of sorts
