White eyes are considered a rare trait for full-blooded Sentient Werewolves and half-blooded Sentient Werewolves to have, with blue, violet, indigo, yellow, orange, and green being the most common eye colors. Brown, red, golden, gray, and silver are the second most common eye colors, with white, off-white, black, and off-black being the least common eye colors for Sentient Werewolves (both full-blooded and half-blooded) to have.

Marie's maternal grandmother also has white eyes, and has the same Fire-Anomalous Ice Element that Marie has.
