you know how it is. get curious about something (pinocchio) and then start learning more and more about it (pinocchio) and then go completely insane with your newly developed attachment to it (pinocchio)

i elected to use the disney one for a lot of reasons, but i genuinely love how it's the first time we ever saw not only a pinocchio that's good from the start, but a pinocchio who dreams of being a real boy the entire time- something rewarded to him when he remains true to himself (since, again, this one is born with inherent kindness- something he is told he must prove to be)

i also decided to post tonight since today was my final surgery on my chest, so it felt fitting to share some trans pride. even a puppet-flavored version of it
