okay so I know artfight is quite a ways away but I always have artfight on the brain I fear,, and also I saw some other folks talking about artfight so figured "hey, I'll talk about artfight too!" I have several different artfight related thoughts and since I don't want to clog up the journal section with me talking about the same topic slightly to the left I'll just wait some time before making another journal. Do expect several more artfight related rambles though :p

anyway even though there's still a couple months till artfight, I still worry I won't be able be finish all my references in time. Including oc's i need to redesign as well as completely new references I need to make that's like what,, 20 oc's ??? Which hey, 5 refs a month isn't too bad? That is, if I actually start.. I'm afraid I'm in a bit of a oc redesign slump,, 2 and a half ocs in the works none of which are getting any closer to being finalized. I am a chronic oc redesigner even if I really like that oc I fear. Take for example solaris, designed my strawpage around him and he's one of my favorite and most worked on ocs but he's gone through a total of 4-ish redesigns... It's not like I disliked any of his previous designs but I just kept having new ideas, sometimes about him or about the universe he's in which leads me to tweak him to better fit the circumstances... I would love to talk about his redesign more so I think i'll make a different journal about him and that stuff,, maybe rubber ducking it (and getting some opinions?) would help? Also sprout fight ! this year for sure I'll complete an entry for that....
