Making this page was intimidating! I wanted to have the story's first glimpse of Bolton as an adult come with a sense of calm, and figuring out how to accomplish that was... again, in a word: intimidating.

Because of that, this page has been through more than one iteration, in fact I nearly finished it in November! At that time, the idea was to have the bottom panel be Bolton sitting in a pillow fort, but because the focus is meant to be on her, the background of a pillow fort was a little hard to make readable.... the blankets read more like a literal photography backdrop, and the pillows read more like props - it wasn't cozy at all! I'm happy with the direction it ended up going though (and happy I'm done with this page, and can stop being intimidated by it).
