I mentioned in the notes of the first page how I attempted to make this comic over two years ago, and even completed a first page... well now, three pages in, we've reached the point where I can share it without spoiling anything, so without further ado, here is the attempt from December 2021

When I decided to tackle this comic earlier this year, I figured I'd be able to use this page with maybe a few changed... but discovered both that my art has changed more than I thought, and that I wanted to sit with the feelings conveyed here more. I feel it's important to establish early on the feelings Bolton and Yorkie have for each other, and sitting with the feelings established here felt like a way to convey that.

It's been fun to me to see what's changed, and what's stayed the same!
