Here's the beginning of a story I started writing years ago... Small Sample.

In the year 2164, it’s been thirty years after the people of Earth made contact with other beings. They are called ‘Hybrids’. These hybrids are half human and half animals. Unfortunately, the king of the Crystal Emerald city were against having even a single hybrid run loose in his city, so he banned them and they had to live in Dark City. However, there were other humans living in Dark City, and they welcomed these hybrids with open arms.

Six years later, the king and queen had a sweet newborn baby. It was a girl. They loved her very much. They named her Mary Leblanc. Throughout the first few years of Mary’s life everything went great. That ended when she got to kindergarten. She was about five years old and kids always made fun of her hair color and eye color. She had silver hair and red eyes. Students and adults though she was a vampire. She was always being made fun of. Mary was always being ignored by the teachers and students. The only friend she had was the imaginary little flying blue rodent she made up.

About the same time, the mother found out she was pregnant once more with another child. She got scared and pissed off at the same time, so she ran away. With the mother gone, Mr. Leblanc couldn’t take care of his daughter. He looked throughout the town, but couldn’t find anyone to take care of Mary. Half a year went by before he found someone. He lives in the mountains and is a sword master. He is strong and can take care of many things including his health.

He is actually known to the whole country as Mr. Samurai. Mary’s father asked the guy about raising her.

“Excuse me sir.” Mr. Leblanc asked.

The man turned around.

“Yes?” he said.

“I have a request. Could you please look after my daughter? I can’t do it anymore.” The father begged.

“Why?” the man asked. “What about her mother?”

“It’s because I can’t take care of her alone. Her mother ran away after she found out she was pregnant with another child.”

“I’ll do what I can.”

The man left and the father was forever heart broken. He lost his wife and his only children. He got upset and went to bed.

A month later, people started seeing papers and smelled some weird stench coming from the Leblanc house. The police were called. The police found a man lying in his bed dead. Everyone knew he had a wife and a child but they were nowhere to be found. The ambulance took Mr. Leblanc out in a stretcher. The police was putting out an eye watch for his wife or the kid.

Mrs. Leblanc ran out of town and escaped into a dark city. A city where people were weird looking. There were hybrid humans. These hybrids are half humans-half animals. Her water broke and was giving pregnant in the dark alley. A few hybrids were coming to her due to the screams.

“GET AWAY!” she screamed loudly until she fainted from the pain.

Two wolf hybrid men took her to their hospital for help. Hours later, she woke up and saw she was in a room filled with both humans and hybrids. She was so freaked out she started hyperventilating too much and passed out again. Finally she woke up once more and then saw only a human doctor and human nurse in the room.

“Was that a dream?” Mrs. Leblanc asked.

“What?” the doctor responded.

“These animal humans are they all gone?”
